About Me
I am Mehdiyev Aydin Imran oglu, born in Baku in 1959. In 1985, I graduated from the Azerbaijan Engineering and Construction Institute with an honors diploma majoring in Industrial and Civil Construction. I have achieved the scientific degrees of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, doctor of technical sciences. I am a substitute professor of the Department of Mechanics of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
I have been interested in photography since I was 9 years old. I have been seriously engaged in creative photography since 2003. In 2012, the 1st place in the nomination “modern technologies” in the photo contest “Russia through the eyes of a foreigner” held by the Presidential Library named after B. N. Yeltsin, 3 of the 5 photos I sent to the photo contest “Azerbaijan through the lens” organized by BP company that year were from this photo contest. included in the catalog. Later, while participating in international competitions sponsored by FIAP, IAAP, PSA, GPU, my achievements were 4 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze, more than 20 diplomas and 150 international certificates. Several times I have been included in the list of 10% of the most powerful photographers of the year by the famous US photo site “ViewBug”. I have more than 15 diplomas of the Russian “35 award” photo site.
I have been a member of the Azerbaijan Society of Photographers since 2009, and a member of the AFB board of directors since April 2022.
I was awarded several government awards, including the “Honored Culture Worker” badge in December 2016.
