About Me

He was born in Edremit in 1951. He is married and has 1 child. He was the chairman of the board of directors and the assembly of Edremit Chamber of Commerce, as well as the chairman and board member of many social foundations and associations.
His profession is lumberman.

His interest in photography: He started photography with darkroom studies in the first grade of Edremit High School (1967). He made the school photography branch operational in the same year.

He married his current wife for the first time, and his second marriage was with “PHOTOGRAPHY”. He had many photographs from this marriage. He was among the founders of the Zeytin Photography Amateurs Association. He was the president of the Zeytin Photography Amateurs Association for three terms. Later, he was among the founding members of the Turkish Photography Federation. He was the chairman of the audit board of the Turkish Photography Federation for two terms. He is an active member of FSK, ZEYFOD, BASAF, photography associations, and an honorary member of Edremit Photography and Cinema Association.

His photographs have been published in many magazines and journals. He has received various awards throughout Turkey.

He has taken part in 16 group photography exhibitions, 81 of which are personal and two of which are abroad.

He enjoys traveling, reading books and driving. He enjoys traveling around Turkey and other countries of the world step by step and tasting them one by one. He has visited 108 countries so far. During his stay in the cities and countries he visits, he enjoys chatting with the local people, dressing like them and living like the local people. Being a humanist allows him to live in peace with all segments of society regardless of religion, language, race, status and position.

His life goal is not money; he also has no obsession with being famous. He considers benefiting from the blessings of the world as his greatest luck. He continues his life with the spirit of his 40s, regardless of his advanced biological age.

He was sentenced to take photos for the rest of his life due to his passion for photography. He is currently serving his sentence in Edremit.
