Dao Tien Dat was born in Binh Dinh province and now he’s living in Quy Nhon
city, Binh Dinh province,Vietnam. He’s joined photography since 1998.

He has received over 2000 awards domestic and international awards in 80 countries
and territories of 5 continents. Of which, the most notable prizes have been: Golden
Cup of Photographer of the Year 2005 (Italia); Gold Medal Best of Asia 2006
(Italia); 362 Gold Medals; 3 Cups of Excellence in Hong Kong (2006, 2013),
Sweden (2009); First Place Award – PPD Photo of the Year 2011 of PSA
(USA).PSA Who’s Who Top 2nd in the World EID 2010 and PSA Who’s Who Top
1st in the Overseas SCP 2010 & SMP 2010, SCP 2013 by Photographic Society of
America. Top 3 (2018) & Top 4 (2019) Asia Super 12 Circuits of Asia
Photographers Union (APU).
Dao Tien Dat was honored to be chosen as a judge for 208 competitions, including
100 domestic photo competitions and 108 international photo competitions. He was
the President of the Jury of the Summer, Sea, Sun 2018 (Croatia), President of the
jury exhibition “PACAYA 2022” in Guatemala, President jury CIRCUIT
“REINDEER IN ACTION 2022’’ Guatemala City jury and President of the jury
exhibition Guatemala City CIRCUIT “GIRAFFE CUP 2022’’; the Chairman of
Judges of Color of the 10 th International Artistic Photo Contest in Vietnam 2019
(VN-19), Jury chair of Travel category of the 11 th International Photo Contest in
Vietnam 2021 (VN-21).
