About Me

• He was born in Polis – Paphos (Cyprus) in 1965.
• Between 2005 and 2024, he contributed to many exhibitions at home and abroad with his photographs.
• He served as a jury member in many national and international photography competitions.
• Many of his photographs have received awards and exhibitions in various categories in national and international photography competitions since 2013, when he started participating in competitions.
• He opened his “10×10” themed solo photography exhibition in 2015. In his exhibition consisting of 100 photographs, 10 photographs from 10 different categories were included.
• In 2016, he opened his solo photography exhibition “10×10” in South Nicosia.
• In 2018, he opened his first international solo photography exhibition consisting of 50 photographs, in Baku – Azerbaijan.
• He pioneered the organization of the “World Photography Day” events, which were held in Northern Cyprus in 2018 and 2019 and supported by all photography associations.
• He participated in the “Photographers’ Meeting” organized by TURKSOY in various countries.
• His “100×2” themed solo exhibition, which was opened with the contributions of Near East University in 2019, included a total of 200 photographs, 75 award-winning, 60 black-and-white and 65 color.
• He is the recipient of the “Ibn-Heisem Photography Masters Award” within the scope of the Alasia Grand Art Awards given to master artists whose works are exhibited in Near East University museums.
• In 2019, he was awarded the title of c*MoL (contestant’s * Master of Light), which is given to artists who fulfill the necessary requirements in competitions patronaged by the Master of Light Photography Association.
• In 2020, he was awarded the title of “HONORARY FELLOWSHIP of Association of Photographers of Georgia – Hon.FAPG”, the highest title of the Association, by the Georgian Photographers Association for his works and contributions in the field of photography.
• In 2022, he was awarded the title of A.NPS (Artiste NPS) by the Nicosia Photographic Society for fulfilling the necessary requirements.
• In 2022, he opened his second solo international photography exhibition in Gaziantep – Turkey under the auspices of the Gaziantep Consulate General.
• In 2023, he was awarded the EFIAP/d2 (Excellence FIAP Diamond 2) title by FIAP for fulfilling the necessary requirements.
• In 2024, he was awarded the title of GM.APS (Grand Master APS) by the Agile Photographic Society for fulfilling the necessary requirements.
• In 2024, he opened his third solo international photogtraphy exhibition in Istanbul, with the theme “Living Northern Cyprus in Istanbul”.
• In addition to being a photography instructor, he took part in various projects as a photo editor and exhibition curator.
