Nurlan Tahirli

 Was born on March 16, 1988, in Baku, Azerbaijan. In 2011, while completing master’s degree in Marketing he started a one-year photography course and defended master’s thesis combining both together. As part of the World 360° project, which he launched in 2015, carried out 360° panoramic images and virtual tours of various countries and places. The most significant VR projects are the Central Scientific Library of ANAS, the Department of Anatomy of the Azerbaijan State Medical University, and the Virtual Museum of Mirza Alakbar Sabir.
In 2015, 2016, and 2019, 3 solo exhibitions were held in Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia. His works have been exhibited in more than 80 festivals and group exhibitions around the World; published in catalogs of Global Photo Awards, 35 Awards, Urban Awards, and other international photo organizations and magazines. Winner of the Grand Prix, 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze medal, more than 70 diplomas, and honorable mentions.

He is a member of the Union of Photographers of Azerbaijan (UPA). In 2022, he was elected a member of the Control-Inspection Commission of the UPA. Received “European Photographer” qualification from the European Federation of Photographers (FEP), “Excellence of FIAP” from the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP), “Excellence of APG” from the Association of Photographers of Georgia (APG), and “SSS/AIR” distinction titles from Sille Sanat Sarayı (SSS).
